Hello!

My name is Mark Troxel. By day, I’m a veterinary neurologist, but my other passion is photography. I’ve been dabbling in photography since I was a kid. I started getting serious about photography in 2019 with landscape photography right before the world came to a screeching halt with the Covid pandemic. I was fortunate that my profession allowed me to continue to work, but the pandemic put a lot into a new perspective and I started spending more time outdoors and switched to primarily nature/wildlife photography. I also enjoy practing other genres of photography, especially landscape and macro.

I hope my work, which you can find here on my website and on social media sites (see below), reflects a deep appreciation for the natural world.. Being out in nature is a wonderful form of therapy to alleviate the stress and exhaustion that sometimes comes with the day job. I hope you like my images as much as I enjoyed being out there creating them!
